Employment Opportunities

Mohican Wilderness is an unusual outdoor opportunity for youth groups and families in Ohio and surrounding states. Not only do we provide camping with electric and water hookup and without on two miles of the Mohican River, we have a long list of recreation available and host numerous events. This combination creates a busy and challenging variety of employment options.

We are currently searching for the individual, couple, or family that would like to experience our season from April 15 to October 25 (varies with position.)

Job Descriptions

Management: Oversee the office complex including reservations, scheduling, staff of four, correspondence, cash registers and daily report, check-in, store appearance and supply, customer relations...

Cleaning: Keep shower houses, latrines, youth cabins and family cabins in good condition, oversee the pick up of daily camper trash bags and recreation area trash cans, keep grounds litter-free.

Others: Riding Stable, Camp Naturalist, Craft Center Director, Canoe Livery Drivers/Crew, Lifeguard

Compensation: This varies with the position, length of commitment, and your qualifications. Although our season runs May 1 to October 31, some positions do not require that length of time. We have campsites with water and electic hookup available for the season for those who wish to use their own camper or RV. We also provide housing for qualified applicants.
