WALLY ROAD BRIDGE “CLOSURE”

The Spellacy Bridge located between Arrowpoint Campground and Lost Horizons Campground (formally Smith’s Campground) is OPEN.

The bridge is scheduled for closure on Monday September 19th following our Mohican Bluegrass Festival.  Although it has been reduced to one lane using traffic lights, it’s to remain open until the closing date or until deemed unsafe for travel.  Weight limit has been reduced to under 10 ton.

The suggested alternate route to Mohican Wilderness is from Nashville taking State Route 514 North to Greer, turn RIGHT onto Wally Road.

We are conveniently located just 9 miles from Loudonville, Ohio.

We are home to the annual Mohican Bluegrass Festival which is a favorite attraction in the Loudonville area! Reservations accepted year ’round! The mission of Mohican Wilderness is to provide a quiet refuge for considerate families and youth groups who “play by day and sleep at night.” Prospective campers who cannot abide by this goal are requested to go elsewhere.
