Camping Rates 2026

• Nightly lot rate includes 2 persons.
• Electric/Water hookup lots have a maximum occupancy of 6 persons including children 6+.
• Primitive lots have a maximum occupancy of 4 persons including children 6+.
• The exception of maximum occupancy applies only to families with 2 adults (18+) and their minor (less than 18 years of age) children.  Regardless of family size, each lot must not exceed the number of “units” (RV’s, tents, etc.) allowed per the Ohio Revised Code section 3701-26-04, Subsection I/3/a-b.

• Add $15 per extra adult (18+), $8 per extra youth (6-17), 5 and under free. Day visitors – $10 adult (18+), $5 youth (6-17).

• Mohican Wilderness contracts with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to maintain a quiet, respectful, and peaceful space.   If you believe you and/or your group are unable to conduct yourselves appropriately in a family centered atmosphere, we ask that you make your reservations at an establishment better suited to your version of camping.  Thanks for keeping the peace!

• 3-9pm.  No call no show sites will be released the next day at 9am without refund of deposit.
• Arrivals prior to 3pm may “check-in” but will be directed to the canoe parking area as a staging area until the sites have been attended to.  On occasion, the site may be available earlier if it was unoccupied the previous night.

• 1pm for campsites.
• 11am for cabins.

• 3-night minimum

• 100% of site base-rate for nights reserved.
• Deposits do not include additional persons, holiday rate adjustments, recreation or year-to-year rate adjustments.  Balance due at check-in.
• Example: Reserve 5 nights, pay current base-rate for 5 nights.

• 7+ days prior to arrival = $10 fee/site cancelled. 
• Within 7 days of arrival = Deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. 
• Cancellations due to weather, medical reasons, personal emergencies, early departures, etc. are not exempt from this policy.
• This policy does not apply to the Mohican Bluegrass Festival.

• Sites will be held until 9AM the day following scheduled arrival date and will then be released and rebooked at the discretion of Mohican Wilderness.  Payment/Deposit will then be forfeited. It will be your responsibility to call and inform our office if you’ll be arriving the following day.  We will not contact no-shows.

• Mohican Wilderness is updating its reservation process. Rather than rebooking campsites a year in advance, future reservations will now be made through our online booking system. The reservation calendar opens on a rolling 335-day basis, allowing guests to book stays of up to four nights as early as 335 days before arrival.  Example: 335 days from today happens to be a Thursday (the day you want to arrive); you can book Thursday-Monday (departure day).  Example: You want to arrive 300 days from today; you can book up to 10 nights (max amount allowed).  In-person, by phone or email reservations will be held to the 335 day rolling calendar.
• Online booking will open daily at noon.

• All adults (18+) are required to sign our general release form or CAMPING LIABILITY WAIVER
